A typical day at Blossom Early Learning

Drop-off

From 6.30 am families are welcomed by our educators. We will help your child get settled in and you can discuss important updates. A nutritious, age-appropriate breakfast is provided in the family grouping room.

Morning activities

Each room starts their engaging, play-based learning program based on our Blossom Curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Our flexible indoor-outdoor programs and lessons are designed around children’s interest and needs, and can include intentional teaching, project-based activities, specialist classes or free play.

The morning also includes morning tea, a healthy light meal to fuel their learning. Rest time is offered for those who need it (depending on the child’s schedule).

Lunch

We serve delicious and nutritious meals prepared by our qualified in-house chef. In the age-appropriate rooms, self-serving and independence are encouraged and promoted as children are provided with opportunities to serve their meals, pour drinks, and set up and pack up from meal routines.

Rest time

Rest time is offered for those who need it, however activities are continued for those who do not need a rest.

Afternoon

We continue our learning in the afternoon based on our Blossom Curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Our flexible indoor-outdoor programs and lessons are designed around children’s interest and needs.

The afternoon also includes afternoon tea, another healthy, light meal to provide the children with the necessary energy to support further learning throughout the rest of the day.

Pick up

At the end of the day families are provided with the opportunity to discuss their child’s day with educators. A light evening snack will also be provided before families arrive to pick up their child.
