Kindergarten
At Blossom Early Learning, we offer both a 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten program.
Our Kindergarten curriculum is delivered by Bachelor-qualified Kindergarten teachers and educators who are dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive environment where children can thrive.
We focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning through specially designed activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

High-quality, play-based learning
Designed to provide high-quality education tailored to the unique interests and developmental needs of the children, our Kindergarten program incorporates the Government Funded Kindergarten Program and is led by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). We combine this with our indoor-outdoor, play-based Blossom Curriculum and the Reggio Emilia approach for a holistic, engaging and meaningful program where children get the chance to complete fun individual tasks as well as group activities, participate in long-term projects and start to form real friendships.
Our play-based programs encourage children to explore, experiment, and discover at their own pace. By incorporating their interests into our activities, we create a dynamic learning environment that keeps them motivated and engaged.
Preparing children for school
Kindergarten is vital to a child’s successful transition to primary school. However, school readiness is not just about academics, such as having basic letter and number recognition and being able to write their own name. They also need to have sufficient ‘self help’ skills, such as being able to dress themselves, understand personal hygiene, open their own lunchbox, ask for help or take care of their belongings.
We also focus on the development of foundational skills such as questioning, problem-solving, and critical thinking, and on building routines that support their growing independence and encourage them to become confident and active classroom participants. Additionally, we highlight the importance of social skills, teaching children how to get along with others and form meaningful friendships.
At Blossom Early Learning, we are dedicated to cultivating a love of learning and preparing children for the exciting journey ahead. If you are interested in enrolling, we’d love to invite you for a tour, or you can send us an enquiry here and we’ll be in touch with you.

Why choose the Blossom Kindergarten program
In-depth knowledge of your child
Our Bachelor-qualified Kindergarten teacher starts the year with in-depth knowledge and understanding of your child, their interests and current learning through shared documentation and discussion between classrooms.
More learning time
Our Kindergarten program is delivered over 5 full days, enabling children to participate in longer projects and more in-depth learning. The longer days also allow children and teachers to undertake more spontaneous learning based on the children’s interest or current affairs.
Sense of belonging
As you child moves through the different rooms at Blossom, they establish a sense of trust and belonging that encourages learning and confidence.
Long-term friendships
Children generally stay with the same group for up to five years, allowing social skills to develop and friendships to grow with their peers (and educators!).
Blossom parent app
You can see your child’s progress and activities in the Blossom parent app. We use OWNA, a secure and private platform for families to stay updated.
Nutritional meals and snacks
We offer a full day of nutritional meals and snacks – no need to pack a lunchbox.
Flexibility
Unlike sessional kindergarten, which has set days and times, our dedicated program offers flexibility, allowing families to choose the days of care that best suit their needs.
Open all year round
Blossom Early Learning is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, all year round (52 weeks per year, excluding public holidays). No need to find alternative care during the holidays.
