Centre facilities

Our purpose-built, best-in-class facilities are designed specifically to nurture your child, ignite their curiosity, and encourage learning through play.

Every indoor and outdoor area is intentionally designed to create calming, joyful and engaging spaces where your child can thrive. Our indoor-outdoor program allows children to make their own decisions about their learning and how they want to play.

Our key priority is to provide safe, clean and well-maintained learning and play environments in every part of our centre.

We take great care in displaying our children’s artwork around the centre, both in their rooms as well as the hallways. Displaying artwork and projects create a real sense of accomplishment and pride, but also continue conversation and reflection. They brighten up every space and put a smile on the children’s, family’s and Blossom team member’s faces, further building a sense of belonging.

Light, welcoming and inspiring rooms

Our main goal is for every child to walk into their room feeling welcome, excited, comfortable and safe.

Our signature flowers welcome the children when entering their room and create a sense of belonging and routine.

All our rooms are designed with plenty of natural light and display a vast array of age-appropriate and high-quality resources, providing the best learning environments. With great focus on adaptability, our furniture and resources are selected to match the needs of our children. Our indoor environments feature natural timber furniture and cosy fabrics, combined with vibrant colours to create a calm yet fun atmosphere.

Age-appropriate life-like play spaces are created in all rooms, imitating real-life situations and actions. This type of imaginative or pretend play uses props or toys and helps children understand and act out daily routines like cooking, shopping or caring for others. Life-like play is crucial for language development, social skills and cognitive growth and sparks children’s imagination and creativity.

Best-in-class outdoor play yards

Being outdoors has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood, contributing to children’s emotional wellbeing.

Our outdoor play areas are thoughtfully designed to create learning environments that combine natural landscapes, playground equipment, sensory areas and open spaces for free play.

  • Our natural landscapes and community gardens consist of a variety of natural elements which provide children with opportunities to explore and connect with nature.
  • Our industry-leading Kompan playground equipment is designed to be safe yet challenging, encouraging physical activity and motor skill development.
  • Our sensory areas are filled with elements of different textures, colours, or scents, stimulating children’s senses and promoting curiosity and exploration.
  • Free play is promoted through offering a vast range of outdoor toys and flexible equipment which can be used in unlimited ways, encouraging imaginative play.

These outdoor play areas are not just about physical activity; they play a crucial role in promoting children’s overall development. Engaging with natural elements and diverse play equipment helps children develop their gross and fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. Additionally, these environments foster social skills as children interact, share, and collaborate with their peers during play.

As a Sunsmart centre, we ensure that our play yards have plenty of shaded areas and all kids wear hats when outside. In addition, we provide SPF 50+ sunscreen, however parents have the option to provide their own sunscreen if required.

State-of-the-art commercial kitchen

Our centre offers a brand new commercial kitchen and our own in-house qualified chef who carefully designs a nutritious, home-made seasonal menu that meet children’s dietary needs while incorporating seasonal produce, diverse cultural influences, and allergy considerations.

We believe that healthy eating habits are instilled at a young age and our menus focus on variety, balance and nutrition that support children’s growth and development.

Our fully certified chef ensures all meals are prepared to the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Where possible, we try to include children’s and family’s ideas or feedback, encouraging different flavours and greater engagement.

On-site car park

Our centre features an on-site car park for easy and safe drop-off and pick-up.

Ensuring the safe usage of the car park is crucial for the wellbeing of children, families, and our team. Firstly, always adhere to the designated speed limits within the car park to prevent accidents. It is important to park only in marked spaces and avoid blocking entrances, exits, or pedestrian pathways. Parents/guardians should hold their children’s hands while walking to and from the car, ensuring they stay close and do not run into the path of moving vehicles. Additionally, be mindful of other drivers and pedestrians, and always check mirrors and blind spots before reversing.

By following these guidelines, everyone can contribute to a safer environment in the car park.
